Kerry golf had a big weekend: Tralee Golf Club hosted the Arnold Palmer Cup, the prestigious team event that brings the best university golfers from the United States and the rest of the world head to head. Team International took a thrilling win on the famous links at Barrow.
Arnold Palmer himself designed the Tralee course and famously loved this coastline, so the event returning to its spiritual home put West Kerry golf on screens around the world. With Ballybunion Golf Club up the coast and Castlegregory Golf Course beside the Maharees, this corner of Ireland is quietly one of Europe's great links destinations.
